The purpose of the R7RS-large language is to be “large enough to address the practical needs of mainstream software development” (or at least some of them). This talk is about the progress made on it since my last report in 2014, when its development had barely begun. While not as many SRFIs have yet been voted in (or out) as I had hoped, the effort is now better organized, I hope. At any rate we have an excellent idea of what proposals remain to be voted on: 26 SRFIs voted in, 85 SRFIs (and parts of R6RS) waiting to be voted on, and 65 pre-SRFI specs, only a few of which have implementations. I will also be squeezing into this talk as many anecdotes and answers to your questions as I can.
